Additional Requirements

Age 25 to 42 years

Knowledge of labor union management, Bangladesh labor law and its amendment, process management, factory HR administration Possess high degree of correspondence & analytical ability.
Knowledge on WRAP/BSCI, SEDEX, ICS, HIGG / RSC/ Nirapon will be preferable.
Certified on WRAP/BSCI, SA8000/EMS/HIGG will be preferable.
Must have good presence and leadership ability.

Responsibilities & Context

We (BITOPI GROUP) are looking to get application from some young, energetic, enthusiastic candidate to work with our Factory HR & Compliance Team as Executive/ Sr. Executive – Compliance & Welfare. You may apply, if you are organized with strong attention to details; have a can-do attitude happy to learn new skills and great communication skills with professional etiquette.

Brief JD:

Monitor all social compliance issues of factories.
Prepare internal audit schedule and plan and Conduct internal audit as per Bangladesh Labor Law, Buyer social COC and other Certification audit standard and make reports regarding compliance operations and progress.
Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress. Report violations of compliance or regulatory standards to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate or required.
Verify that all policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.
Advise technical professionals on the development or use of environmental compliance or reporting tools.
Develop or implement environmental compliance plans for programs, such as air quality, storm water, wastewater treatment, hazardous waste management, pollution prevention, or solid waste management.
Direct environmental programs, such as air or water compliance, aboveground or underground storage tanks, spill prevention or control, hazardous waste or materials management, solid waste recycling, medical waste management, indoor air quality, integrated pest management, employee training, or disaster preparedness.
Review or modify policies or operating guidelines to comply with changes to environmental standards or regulations.
Document findings of tests and audits in work papers and memos and distribute to relevant supervisors and department heads upon completion.
Collect verbal grievances of workers from floor & send to concern dept.
Attend & deal with the auditors of different buyer’s & 3rd party audit.
Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace Conduct WRAP/BSCI, SEDEX, ICS, HIGG /RSC/ Nirapon audit with different audit firm.
Carry out any other jobs as assigned from management time to time.
