Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
- PGDHRM/Diploma in Social Compliance will be given preference.
Experience
- 5 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (FMCG), Tannery/Footwear, Group of Companies
Additional Requirements
- Age 32 to 40 years
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- The candidate should have strong capability in mailing correspondence, dealing with the buyers, conducting the meeting and leading the team.
- Should have proper knowledge about Buyer compliance (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ACCORD/Alliance, Social, others Audit), Compliance Management, Factory HR Administration, HR & Compliance, Social Compliance Sustainability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
- Team-oriented with excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities & Context
- Assistant Manager – HR & Compliance will support the HR and Administration functions by leading and managing various HR activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive workplace environment. This role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, development, and administrative tasks.
- Perform overall HR and Admin-related functions of the Factory.
- Have to ensure implementation of the Compliance as per Compliance manuals.
- Have to carry out regular Compliance Audit in the factory and put up recommendations, follow-up for implementation, and provide reports thereof.
- Have to prepare and update the assessment of Labor law requirements from a Compliance point of view.
- Should have the capacity to face various audit inspections and monitor all health, safety & environmental issues in the factory premises.
- Have to perform internal compliance audits at factories in conjunction with Buyers’ Compliance guidelines.
- Have to be capable of handling Disciplinary & Grievance issues, will address employee relation issues, especially grievances and disciplinary procedures as per law.
- Ability to organize training/awareness regularly.
- Have to maintain and revise policies and procedures for the Compliance Program and run the day-to-day operations.
- Should be capable of maintaining a 100% compliant factory.
- Should be capable of training personnel on Fire Fighting, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment on health & safety issues.
- To prepare the factory for facing different audits such as BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, Accord / Alliance requirement, Social, Ethical, SCS, C-TPAT audit, etc.
- Liaison with Fire & Civil Defense, BGMEA, BKMEA, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, etc.
