Responsibilities & Context


  • Develop yearly organization procurement plan based on yearly operational plan including project plan.
  • Manage the procurement function to ensure that procurement requisitions are delivered on time to meet organization/project requirements.
  • Distribute the procure goods as per requisition.Maintain up-to-date procurement related information, documentation and reporting.
  • Contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives for to increase number of preferred vendors and bring more goods/services under contract.
  • Assist to Review/develop policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
  • Monitor spend patterns, develop strategies to address high spend and plan procurement exercises on a quarterly/yearly basis to achieve value for money.
  • Evaluate the bids, facilitate evaluation committees based on procurement threshold and negotiate with vendors.
  • Address stakeholders’ complaints and/or queries resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Prepare/update enlisted vendor list as per manual.
  • Evaluate the vendor as procurement manual.
  • Vehicle Management- implement an effective vehicle management including fleet plan, movement control, maintenance and documentation.
  • Prepare movement plan and track vehicle movement
  • Stock Management- implement stock management system including tool, receiving, stocking, distribution schedule, reporting and documentation
  • Asset Management – implement asset management system as per requirement including asset numbering, updating asset movement, reporting and documentation
  • Repair Maintenance – assess repairing need and organize regular maintenance.
  • Security Implementation- setup all the security measures as per decision and implement all the standard procedures
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by Management.
